Don't miss this event, which starts at 7:00PM at the Old Jailhouse at Fred Fuller Park off Middlebury Road in Kent OH. Independent filmmaker Lynda Byrket will screen "Video the Vote," featuring Columbus, Ohio, Election Day footage shot on November 2, 2004. The video provides stunning evidence of systematic suppression of the African American vote. The raw footage shot for this video was entered as evidence into the U.S. Congressional Record by Congressional challengers to the Ohio Electoral votes on January 6, 2005. In many ways, the campaign was key in defeating Ken Blackwell. For two years, often while the Democrats ducked and covered, our independent and tenacious army of election rights activists unflinchingly attacked Blackwell and his corrupt cronies.
